About me
I am Mona Singh. Hearing impaired by birth.An Artist by profession. I did my high school from Mumbai and also studied Visual Art and Web Multimedia from private institutes in Mumbai. Despite my disablitity I won many prizes at these institutes including student of the year in 1998. with good marks. I have great interest in painting and computers.I wanted to be a web designer but could not become one due to my problem. Therefore. I develeped interest in painting and have done many paintings in oil, mixed media and acrylics on canvas. One of my painting was selected by Lalit Kala Aademi for their 49th National Exhibition held in December 2006 at Bhopal. I also had a solo show of my paintings at Studio Vasant Art Gallery,Vasant Vihar, New Delhi in 2006 Also took part in an exhibition at Canvas Art Gallery, Nehru Place, New Delhi. I was invited to take part in an exhibition organised by Saverva Association at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi on 18 and 19 November 2007
